Varangertunet currently consists of three buildings, placed close together in a cosy cul-de-sac. We offer everything from apartments and studio accommodation to conference rooms and party spaces. Varangertunet is situated around 800m from the main road, northbound on bygdeveien. Our property offers a varied experience of Finnmark’s natural beauty, incorporating both woodland and open landscape. To add to your experience of Finnmark’s stunning nature, we have a large outdoor shelter, housing a bonfire area. Additionally, individual stand-alone bonfire areas are also available to add an extra cosy, private touch to your stay with us. Our location is sheltered and peaceful, with an idyllic view of the Varanger fjord and Jakobs river, which is just a 5 minute walk from the site, and provides a serene setting all year round. From your accommodation with us, you’ll also be perfectly place to embark on one of Vestre Jakobselv’s many beautiful hikes or walks.
